Functional Training

Functional training deals with the linking of all movement sequences and muscles.

What is functional training?

Functional training is also understood to mean “three-dimensional” training: all muscles in your body are trained holistically. There is a large number of exercises in which the level of difficulty can be increased individually within each exercise. In particular, deeper muscle parts should be strengthened in order to keep the body stable and mobile. Beginners and advanced users can easily train together in this way. With functional training you can individually improve your mobility and flexibility, strengthen your deep muscles, compensate for muscular imbalances and increase the body's own dynamics. It is also possible to increase your speed strength and endurance.

The approaches of functional training come from sports medicine & sports physiotherapy. Competitive athletes use this type of training with the help of so-called sling trainers (TRX, Vario Sling) or kinesis in order to do sports at the highest level and to withstand the loads over the long term. For this, a basic whole-body fitness is necessary, which is characterized above all by a pronounced trunk stability, strong deep muscles as well as speed strength, endurance, flexibility and resilience.

Medical history and training plan

Before we can work out a training plan with you, we ensure that your complaints are resolved. To do this, we analyze your physical condition (strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, balance) and also your goals and wishes. We incorporate medical findings and, if necessary, consult with your specialists. The more precise our analyzes are, the more targeted your individual training can be.
