Why is nutrition important?

The nutritional advice includes the determination of your personal calorie requirement, an analysis of the current nutritional situation and the development of an individual nutrition plan - of course, we also take into account changed living conditions. These include, for example, special workloads, frequent travel or pregnancy.


When dieting without exercise, there is a risk that weight reduction will only be achieved through the breakdown of body fat and the unwanted breakdown of skeletal muscles. As a result, the reduction in body muscle mass leads to reduced basic, resting and work turnover. This is the reason why, when the normal diet is resumed, an increased weight gain due to this negative energy expenditure difference sets in (yo-yo effect). Repeated diets accelerate the progressive breakdown of muscle mass induced by a lack of exercise and consequently lead to a loss of performance and, in the long term, to a steady increase in body weight. Before we can work out a training plan with you, we ensure that your complaints are resolved. To do this, we analyze your physical condition (strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, balance) and also your goals and wishes. We incorporate medical findings and, if necessary, consult with your specialists. The more precise our analyzes are, the more targeted your individual training can be.
